Camel case

Camel case uses irregular capitalisation where single capitals often appear in the middle of a word, such as ‘iPhone’. This creates an effect similar to the hump of a camel. Its primary use is in product names and hashtags.

Camel case is very similar to - and often used interchangeably with – pascal case. That's when each word in the compound takes an initial capital, such as ‘JavaScript’. Pascal case is common in the tech world.
